“Instructions to Facilitate Relaxation.”
Before each treatment: (You Can Download My Intake Form Here)
1. Be sure to inform me of any changes
in your medical history since your last visit. This is especially important if you become pregnant, develop diabetes, circulatory or heart disease or have had a surgery.
2. Eat only a light meal
The treatment works better when it isn’t competing with digestion. Lying prone on a full stomach can be quite uncomfortable. Avoiding caffeine, alcohol and drugs before the massage is conducive to the relaxation effect of massage.
3. Know that I drape very modestly
with the sheet at all times. Please only undress to the degree that you feel comfortable.
4. Relax and concentrate on breathing
deeply during the treatment. This increases the effectiveness of the treatment. Inform me if you find that you have to hold your breath to tolerate the pressure on points. This is an indication to decrease pressure used.
5. Remove all jewelry before each treatment
(if possible)
6. I use only organic oils of the finest quality
If you have any allergies please let me know ahead of time so that I can blend something suitable for you.
7. Know that any attempt in sexual discussion or touch of that nature will result in termination of your massage.
After each treatment:
1. Please know that feedback on your experience is welcome.
2. Be sure to drink plenty of good water
This aids the body in removing metabolic waste and toxins.
3. Enjoy a baking soda or Epson salt bath
Add more or less than one cup to your tub water and soak for fifteen or more minutes. Baking soda is a natural skin softener and conditioner. Epson salt draws toxins out of the body through the pores.
4. Take it easy after a treatment
Give yourself time to experience the effects of the work.
